THE ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

    What is the meaning of environment? Environment can be describe as all the natural things around us such as air, water, sunlight, plants, land, animals, solid materials, forest, and other things.Environment also include human made aspects like infrastructure.The environment also can be defined as external surroundings and conditions which directly or indirectly affects the living organism.For instance, human cannot live in a temparatures that is too hot or too cool,while animals that lives underwater cannot survive on the land.Overall,a healthy environment is foundational for the survival and prosperity of all living being.However,people are not aware of the grave implications of environmental issues.In this technological era,there are numerous  issues related to the environment.

    One of the issues that related to the environment is pollutions.Pollutions has different type such as air,water and soil. Polluting agents are rapidly increasing in modern society, disturbing the ecological balance and threatening the survival of various animal species.This is because acid rains destroy plants especially tree, this will disturb the natural habitats of animals.Other than acid rains,the construction of buildings also disrupts animal habitats.Moreover,this issues also crucial to human health. For instance, prolonged exposure to air pollution can lead to cancer, damage the immune and respiratory systems, also in severe cases it will caused death. This is why we need to raise public awareness and motivate individuals to actively participate in environmental conservation.Other than raise awareness,people can switch to eco-friendly electric,use public transported and promoting green building.

   Other than pollutions,global warming is also one of the most significant issues that we have to take serious.Global warming refers to climate change which caused  the increasing of the temperature on the surface of the earth.This rised of temperature is because of the increased amount of the greenhouses gases.The most harmful greenhouse gases is  carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons and methane,due to the high realease of greenhouse gases it has resulted into depletion of the ozone layer.Moreover,global warming will cause the rising of the sea level.This effect will result into flooding and eventually causing destruction of properties,land and displacement of people which increases the number of refugees.However,this effects can be reduced if everone practice the environmental sustainability.This can be done  by increase the plantation in private land.Trees will help reduce the carbon in the atmosphere which will lead to reduction of greenhouse effect.

   Futhermore,deforestation is know as the large-scale removal of forest,and stands as one of the most critical environmental issues that we have to face on our planet today.The main causes of global deforestation is because of the human activities.In modern times,because of agricultural expansion the clearing of forest to create more land for crop production and livestockgazing is increasing.This will leads to the loss of habitat.Because of this,the ecological balance and the services ecosystems provide will have a severe impact.It is clear that,the government need to take action for illegal deforestation and educate people about how important our forest is.Other than government,citizens can also join the program planting trees such as The greening Malaysia programme through national 100 million tree planting campaign.

   To summarise, environmental challenges significantly impact the health of all living beings. Issues such as deforestation, pollution, climate change, and habitat destruction highlight the effects of human activities. To ensure a sustainable future, it is crucial for individuals, communities, and governments to collaborate in protecting and restore our environment. By raising awareness, adapting sustainable practices, and supporting policies that prioritize ecological balance, we can create a healthier environment for future generations. Ultimately, it is our responsibility to protect the delicate ecosystems that sustain life on Earth.
